Available Services

OptiComm builds and operates an "open access, wholesale only" network in accordance with the Government's National Broadband Network policy and legislation. However while the NBN delivers just fast broadband and telephone services, Opticomm Fibre Connected Communities have a much larger range of services from which to pick.

We deliver Free to Air services over our network to every home in most of our estates. We also have arrangements with a range of Retail Service Providers to provide Internet, Telephone, Subscription Television and other emerging services over our network. These include:

  • Broadband Internet
  • Digital and Analogue Telephony
  • PayTV or Subscription TV
  • Video on Demand
  • Smart Metering
  • Security and Access control
  • Building Services (for MDUs)
  • eHealth Services

Unlike other Fibre to the Premises networks being built in Australia, our network also allows multiple service providers to deliver different services to each port on the ONT. For example you may wish your Internet service from provider A, your SubscriptionTV service from provider B, and your telephone service from Provider C. This is all possible within an Opticomm Fibre Connected Community.
