Business/Industrial Parks

OptiComm is a wholesale carrier and our networks support a wide range of services from leading Retail Service Providers. Our networks are not just for residential Fibre to the Home; we have an established track record with business parks including the delivery of services into Central Hills in SW Sydney and University Hill in Melbourne.

The key questions for the developer of a business park are:

  • When will the development actually get connected?
  • What rework or additions of work do we have to include to get connected?
  • Who is carrying out and managing the installation?
  •  Who is doing all the appropriate design works?
  • How much extra is this going to cost?
  • Will it all this happen in time for your development?
  • Will the network be able to support the SME and Corporate services (like ISDN) TODAY?

If you are struggling to get answers to any of these questions, OptiComm is available with a proven solution that can be accurately costed and deployed in time for your development. OptiComm can offer two types of solutions, one or both will be applicable to your needs.

Solution 1 – Fibre to the Business

We deploy a Fibre to the Business solution where the typical NBN services of telephone and data are provided. But unlike any other FTTP network in Australia, our network also delivers the legacy services such as multi line analogue hunt groups and Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). This solution is under our business class, wholesale only, business model where each businesses will have a choice of telecommunications carrier for their services.

The park is connected to the OptiComm Point of Interconnect where we provide access to leading service providers, giving choice of service to businesses. Internet/data services are offered at 25mbs, 50mbs or 100mbs by the services providers. Additional services are optional such as access control, alarm management, energy management and CCTV are also available to owners and tenants.

Solution 2 – Fibre to the Business Park

Over the same FTTP network that delivers services to the owners and tenants, OptiComm can transport the data for services such as CCTV, Security, access control, digital signage, traffic management, Hot-Spot WiFi, environmental Monitoring and alarms under OptiComm’s managed services business model.  The network is monitored and maintained during opening hours to ensure all business park services are available.
