Allan Brackin is an experienced director and is also active in mentoring many business entrepreneurs and executives. Allan served as Chief Executive Officer for Volante Group Limited, one of Australia’s largest IT Services companies, from 2000 – 2004. Prior to this Allan was Chief Executive Officer of AAG Technology Services from 1986-2000. In 2000 AAG Technology Services merged with Volante Group Limited with Allan taking over as CEO of the combined group.
Paul Cross has more than 20 years’ experience within the fibre optic and telecommunication market, including as a founder and major shareholder of Optimal Cable Services Pty Ltd, an Australian manufacturer of fibre optic cables for the Telecommunication and Commercial markets within Oceania which was sold to AFL communications. Paul has presented at numerous industry events and has been a member of several Standards advisory panels both locally and internationally.
Greg brings commercial and operational expertise developed from senior executive roles at Telstra Corporation where his career spanned more than 20 years, and subsequently at NBNCo where he was the Chief Operating Officer responsible for the key operational and commercial elements of Australia’s largest infrastructure project.
Jennifer is an experienced non executive director with over twenty five years in the technology and media industries. Jennifer became a Director of OptiComm in August 2017 and is also Chair of its Remuneration Committee. She is also a Director of Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN), St Kilda Football Club, Essential Energy and Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, and a past Director of Telstra SNP Monitoring, Pacific Access Superannuation Fund, Family Life and Kilvington Grammar.
David is a co-founder of OptiComm and is currently the managing director at Madison Technologies, one of Australia’s leading product manufacturers and distributor of cabling, networking, wireless and audio visual products and solutions
Ken has extensive knowledge in most areas of taxation, including GST, accounting standards, general finance and legal principles surrounding business. He has navigated many clients through the complexity of difficult tax issues and ATO negotiations, financier negotiations and the acquisition and disposal of businesses, both whole and in part. He works with clients across a broad range of industries to strategically manage their tax position and general financial outcomes.
Ben Liew became the Chief Network Officer of OptiComm on 2 October 2017. In this role Ben is responsible for the operational well-being of OptiComm’s network and system platforms. Ben is also responsible for the engineering and continuous enhancement of these platforms. Ben was previously with NBN Co for 8 years where he fulfilled leadership roles in its Technology and Operations function.
Mr Stephen Davies is the Chief Technology Officer and joined OptiComm in 2008. He is primarily responsible for developing and executing the technology strategy for the Company.
Stephen has 30 years’ experience in the information and communications technology industry, with specialised expertise in the Fibre-to-the-Premises industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Geoff Aldridge has been in the Information and Communications Technology industry for over 20 years, specialising in the deployment of cable TV networks, Telephony networks, integration of GIS systems, Managing infrastructure integration, co-ordinating network builds and deploying Hybrid Fibre Cable TV networks into green field estates. He has worked at United Artists, Cabletel, TCI, Smallworld, GeoNet and BES before Joining OptiComm in 2007.
John is a seasoned Senior Executive with over 35 years’ experience. Prior to joining Opticomm in 2017, John was Group CFO and EGM Group Services at Oakton Ltd (ASX: OKN) for over 8 years. Prior to that John was CEO of a privately owned mid-sized IT Services and Consulting company and previously was at Price Waterhouse. He has a Bachelor of Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant. He has extensive experience in a listed environment and has also held several Board roles in the not-for-profit sector.
Martin is the Chief Construction Officer. He has worked across most of the OptiComm business including Finance, Commercial, Construction and Operations.
Prior to joining OptiComm, Martin worked at Madison Technology and KPMG.
Cassandra joined OptiComm in 2018. Cassandra is an experienced, AHRI award winning human resources leader, with 20 years of comprehensive HR and general management experience, underpinned by a diverse background in organisational development, human capital transformation, conflict resolution, strategic planning and employment law.
