Opticomm celebrates 10 Years in Gregory Hills

19 June 2019 – Opticomm is completing the final stages of the rollout of the superfast Fibre-to-the-Premises network in the suburb of Gregory Hills in South Western Sydney.

Gregory Hills is a master-planned community in the South Western Priority Growth Area in the Macarthur region of Sydney. Today, Gregory Hills is home to over 5,000 residents and the development also features a town centre, business park, shopping centre, recreational parks, playing fields and schools. The employment lands cover 45 hectares and will support 3,000 jobs.

The Opticomm network provides superfast Telecommunications services to Homes, Businesses and Community facilities across the district. In addition, the Opticomm network provides Free-to-Air Television as well as foxtel™, which enables a ‘clean roof’ approach by eliminating the need for a Satellite Dish and Television Antenna on every home within the development.

Residents can choose from over 30 Retail Service Providers for superfast broadband Internet services and business are able to access commercial grade services up to 1Gbs.  Residents also enjoy the Opticomm delivered community Wi‑Fi hot-spots in the parks with free community access to broadband internet services in the public realm.
