OptiComm has launched a brand new service which allows property developers to find out quickly and painlessly whether their site can be serviced by fibre-optic telecommunication services.
The added bonus of this new service is its no lock-in, obligation-free nature – developers can simply head to OptiComm’s website, fill in their details, and OptiComm will provide a feasibility report that will provide developers with the information they need without having to commit to anything; many other telecommunication infrastructure providers require a concrete agreement be made before they provide this information.
To obtain the feasibility report the developer simply needs to provide contact details and basic information about the development.
Next up, the OptiComm team conducts a study in conjunction with backhaul providers to determine the availability of telecommunications infrastructure.
Third and last step is by far the easiest for the developer – OptiComm prepares a report on the site within seven days, which it sends across along with more information on how to proceed.
The feasibility site report will make life easier for developers across the country, explains chief customer officer Geoff Aldridge: “ We talk to a lot of developers who have found themselves signing up to a site check with another provider without realising that they’re actually signing a contract in the process. That’s what sets our service apart – developers can get the information they to ensure they have a technologically-advanced community with the potential for smart city amenities, without committing to any providers”.
OptiComm’s new service will continue to grow in popularity as more developers now require super-speed fibre broadband as a platform for smart city technologies and to enable future high-speed services.
