OptiComm to bring smart city amenities to Gallery

By Nick Acfield posted July 23, 2020

OptiComm is set to further expand its growing network, working with Satterley on a new estate: Gallery in Willagee, Western Australia.

OptiComm will be delivering super-speed 1Gbps speeds, available through selected Retail Service Providers (RSPs), to the community alongside the other services it provides; free-to-air television, international channels, Foxtel connection & phone service.

Gallery will also boast a stunning interactive public art display, which will create a unique landmark for the community

In keeping with the focus on technology, Gallery will also offer all its prospective buyers a futuristic augmented reality app that will allow them to see a 360-degree view of the neighbourhood.

OptiComm’s state manager Kevin Chambers believes the deployment at Gallery will enable residents to live a connected life while future-proofing the site.

“Gallery residents will enjoy a stable and high-speed home broadband connection alongside their home entertainment with no requirement for individual TV or Foxtel Antenna

“The fact that Satterley has developed an app for its prospective buyers also speaks volumes about their commitment to providing leading technological amenities,” Kevin said.

Satterley’s senior development manager John Hirdman is proud to be able to offer residents OptiComm’s superior connectivity.

“This community will be technologically advanced, with would-be buyers able to view Gallery through augmented reality via the app and existing residents connecting to high-speed broadband and enjoying their home entertainment through OptiComm’s fibres,” John said.

Gallery has been designed with neighbourhood connections in mind, whether it’s the pathways that encourage walks around the estate and the neighbouring Carawatha Park, the public playgrounds or the high-speed OptiComm internet, which keep neighbours connected even when they’re at home: the community is certain to be close-knit.
