OptiComm Service Provider

As an Open Access, Wholesale only Fibre-to-the-Premises network operator OptiComm works in collaboration with Retail Service Providers (RSPs) to deliver the products and services to end-users.

We give you the flexibility to differentiate your product offerings to appeal to your target audience. The OptiComm network provides a platform to help RSPs to continue to develop their applications and services, creating the opportunity to innovate and grow their business.

Products/Services

Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) are one of our specialties. OptiComm networks deliver a high capacity range of telecommunication services to your customers including:

  • Telephone
  • Netphone (VOIP)
  • High speed broadband internet
  • PayTV (Foxtel)
  • Digital Free to Air TV

Smart Buildings require smart communications infrastructure. Gigabit Passive Optical Networks (GPON) can also interconnect a wide range of building management and monitoring systems such as:

  • Building Security Access control systems

  • Alarm Management Systems
  • Energy Management Systems
  • CCTV

Our Process
How to become an OptiComm Provider

Agreement

The Service Level Agreement sets out the terms and conditions of access and supply of products over the OptiComm network. A service provider must execute a Service Level Agreement with OptiComm before it can commence its interoperability certification and business readiness testing.

Testing

It is a requirement for any prospective service provider to complete a comprehensive testing programme. This is to ensure the services they offer are robust and meet all the regulatory requirements set out by the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

OptiComm will continue to work with service providers to provision test services on the live network and complete any product or technology based testing to ensure that the services delivered meet the agreed requirements.
